Definition:
The sex ratio of the population aged 80 and over is the number of women aged 80 and over per 100 men of the same age. This ratio is computed by UNECE secretariat, using the table Population by 5-year age groups and sex.
Data refer to mid-year or annual average population.

Country: Croatia

1980 : data refer to 31 March 1981.
From 2001 : age group 85-89 refers to 85+.

Country: Cyprus

Data cover only the area controlled by the Republic of Cyprus.
1980 : data refer to 1982; age group 70-74 refers to 70+.
From 2000: age group 85-89 refers to 85+.
