Definition: Use of Internet includes any kind of use, whether at home, at work or from anywhere else, for private or professional purposes, using a computer or any other means.
Users of Internet over three months period: proportion of individuals who used the Internet in the last three months preceding the survey over the total number of individuals in the same group.
Users of Internet over one week: proportion of individuals who used the internet at least once a week in the last three months preceding the survey over the total number of individuals in the same group.

Variable: Users of Internet over 3 months period , Country: Armenia

For 2013-2014 data refer to the proportion of persons who used a computer in the last 12 months. Since 2015, to the proportion of persons who used a computer in the last three months.

2020: Source: Canadian Internet Use Survey (CIUS). Conceptual definition difference, CIUS ask respondents what devices were used to access the Internet. The 2020 data include those respondents who reported using a laptop or a netbook or a tablet or a desktop computer to access the Internet. Exclude not stated responses. It excludes full-time (residing for more than six months) residents of institutions. People living on reserves are not excluded from the survey population, but they are not targeted in the sample. As the CIUS does not collect this characteristic, there is no way to identify whether the respondents, who are selected from a telephone-based frame, reside on a reserve.

2018: Source: Canadian Internet Use Survey. The sample is no longer taken from the Labour Force Survey (LFS) sample. The target population is all persons 15 years of age and older living in the ten provinces of Canada. It excludes full-time (residing for more than six months) residents of institutions. People living on reserves are not excluded from the survey population, but they are not targeted in the sample. As the CIUS does not collect this characteristic, there is no way to identify whether the respondents, who are selected from a telephone-based frame, reside on a reserve. The Canadian Internet Use Survey was redesigned in 2018. Comparisons with previous iterations should be made with caution.Data refer to use of the Internet in the past 3 months preceding the interview date.
